Schiller Institute Chorus of Eastern Massachusetts

The Schiller Institute Chorus of Eastern MA is determined to have fun preserving a tradition of beauty and profundity, Our mission is to sing and perform Classical choral repertoire, African-American Spirituals and international folk songs which serve as a vehicle of beauty within the cultural darkness of our nation, where ugliness, violence, and mediocrity is promoted and even celebrated. Our chorus also sings at the Verdi tuning of A at 432 hz, which illicits a much warmer and richer tone from the choir, as well as being more true to the tuning of the Classical composers pre-20th century.  We welcome experienced choral singers and inexperienced singers alike, and we also take the time to train less experienced singers, in the bel canto singing method.
