Night Song is holding auditions for experienced volunteer singers from 4:30 – 5:30 pm on Sunday September 27 at First Church in Cambridge, where Night Song is held every Sunday evening. Singers of all voice parts are welcome to apply. In particular, we’re looking for new singers in our treble ensemble, Lumen Dei, and looking for an additional tenor in our ATTBB ensemble, Beneficia lucis.

The literature for Night Song includes Gregorian and modern chant, Medieval and Renaissance works, and some contemporary anthems. The time commitment is very favorable, as each chorister sings only once a month, rehearsing from 5:30 – 7:00 pm, and following a break sings for Night Song at 7:30 pm, finishing at 8:10 pm.
