Experience the serene and solemn power of Fauré’s Requiem, a piece that completely redefines the music of mourning. Fauré strips back the instrumentation to highlight the voices, which creates an intimate, almost prayer-like sound unlike any other piece of its time. Almost 200 years later, it continues to captivate audiences to this day.

This program also includes Frank Martin’s intricate and introspective Mass for Double Choir, and Steal Away, a reimagined arrangement of a traditional spiritual by Diedre Robinson.

Join Cantata Singers for an inspiring evening of music that celebrates peace, connection, and the human spirit.
