Come with us as we explore music and poetry about the natural world around us! The spring of 2024 will be a time for reflecting on the nature and poetry in musical forms. Following a free public workshop in April led by Arlington's Poet Laureate Jean Flanagan, May's performance pairs music and poetry by interweaving a selection of readings with choral settings of poems. Compositions include songs by Gwyneth Walker, Roger Bourland, Randall Thompson, Amy Beach; with settings of poems by Frost, Alarcón, Swenson, and many others.
