The Sly Voxes, a Boston-based, men’s a cappella group, in its 20th year, announces auditions for this season.  With 13-16 singers, The Sly Voxes present eclectic programs including Renaissance motets, international folksongs, American folksongs and spirituals, jazz and pop favorites. Compositions and arrangements are sophisticated and appealing.  Members have sung with a cappella groups at Amherst, Harvard, Princeton, Bowdoin, Dartmouth among others.  The group rehearses most Wednesdays, 8-10PM, in West Roxbury and prepares two concerts each year as well as less formal performances. Some members sing in other church and community groups as well.  Examples of performances are available on YouTube.
